Meet Ari

Hi, I’m Ari, the owner and designer behind Ari’s Mariposa Decor, a Houston-based small business creating wreaths, swags, garlands, centerpieces, and seasonal home décor.

The name Ari’s Mariposa Decor is deeply personal. “Ari” comes from Ariana, and Mariposa—the Spanish word for butterfly—honors the butterfly-shaped thyroid I lost to cancer. During my recovery, creating became a source of comfort, and in 2018 that creative outlet grew into my business.

I love combining ribbons, greenery, florals, signs, and decorative details to create designs filled with color and personality. Whether you are decorating for everyday living, celebrating a holiday, honoring someone special, or searching for a meaningful gift, I want each piece to feel right at home in your space.

One of my greatest joys is knowing that a design created in my Houston studio may become part of your home, your celebrations, and your traditions.
